Ruth has served in both the Regular and Territorial Army, now known as the Reserve Forces. Her last role was as Personnel Recovery Officer. This role brought her into contact with many of the military charities including SSAFA.

After a full career in the Royal Navy (33 years), I am keen to support veterans. Volunteered in 2001 as a Case Worker, but have been Treasurer for a number of years now.
