Proudly serving Hartlepool’s Armed Forces community. We're a local branch of the Royal British Legion, dedicated to supporting veterans, serving personnel, and their families—right here in our town.

Peter first joined to actively support our veterans through the Poppy Appeal, but it didn’t take long for him to realise just how special the Branch is. What started as coming along for one night quickly turned into a lasting commitment — he couldn’t walk away. He often speaks about the fantastic team spirit within the Branch and the wide range of activities undertaken to support the Armed Forces community in Hartlepool, and he regularly encourages others to get involved.

Sian Cameron.
Sian first became involved when she took on the role of Poppy Appeal Organiser, and joining the Branch felt like a natural next step. Over time, her involvement snowballed. Determined not to see the Hartlepool branch fade away, Sian believed that by pulling together as a team, the Branch could continue to grow from strength

Sian first became involved when she took on the role of Poppy Appeal Organiser, and joining the Branch felt like a natural next step. Over time, her involvement snowballed. Determined not to see the Hartlepool branch fade away, Sian believed that by pulling together as a team, the Branch could continue to grow from strength to strength — and her dedication has played a huge part in making that happen here in Hartlepool.

Marley Haggan.
Coming from an Armed Forces family, Marley felt a strong desire to give back and support those who have given so much for our country. Joining the RBL gave him the opportunity to do exactly that, and he is proud to play his part in supporting the Armed Forces community here in Hartlepool.

Laura Monaghan.
As a veteran herself, Laura wanted to be part of an organisation that provides vital support to those who have served. Joining the RBL allowed her to stay connected to the Armed Forces community while helping ensure that fellow veterans receive the assistance and understanding they deserve.
